Privacy Policy

The short version
I collect as little as possible, keep it only as long as I need it, and never sell it. This policy covers the faulknerlabs.io website and the apps I publish — including CleverGit, DroneStart, KoiKoi, SiteCalc and Warclave. Faulkner Labs is a small independent studio, and I’m the person responsible for your data. Questions? Email [email protected].
The website
You can browse faulknerlabs.io without an account or giving me any personal information. My hosting provider may log standard technical details (like your approximate location from your IP address, browser type and the pages you viewed) to keep the site running and secure — never to identify you or build ad profiles. The site uses no advertising or tracking cookies.
When you contact me
If you email me or use a contact form, I receive what you choose to send — usually your name, email and message. I use it only to reply and help you, and I keep it only as long as needed before deleting it.
Your content in the apps
The apps work on your device without an account. Checklists, jobs, repositories, game progress and calculations stay on your device — and in your own iCloud if you enable it. I can’t see any of it.
Diagnostics
The apps may collect anonymous, aggregated crash reports and usage statistics so I can fix bugs. This is never tied to your identity, and where Apple’s tools are used it follows your device privacy settings — you can opt out of sharing analytics with developers there.
Purchases
Purchases and downloads go through Apple’s App Store. Apple handles payment and account details directly; I never receive your payment information. That data is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy.
What I don’t do
I don’t sell your personal information, and I don’t share it with advertisers or data brokers. I only share data with the providers that help me operate — website hosting, email and Apple’s App Store — to the extent they need it, plus where I’m legally required to. No data is sold, ever.
Your rights
You can ask me to tell you what I hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it — just email [email protected] and I’ll respond within a reasonable time at no charge. Depending on where you live you may have extra legal rights: EU and UK residents have GDPR rights (including objection, restriction, portability and complaining to a data protection authority), and California residents have CCPA/CPRA rights. Since I don’t sell personal information, there’s nothing to opt out of in that respect.
Children
The website and apps aren’t directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age where you live), and I don’t knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided data, email me and I’ll delete it.
Security & changes
I take reasonable measures to protect your information, and minimal collection is my first line of defense — though no method is perfectly secure. I may update this policy from time to time; when I do, I’ll change the date above and highlight significant changes.
